I just finished Cure for the Common Life by Max Lucado. And while I always enjoy reading Max and hearing his message, the book
served more as a reminder to me to keep a positive attitude. I supposed the most important takeaway for me is this – we all have to do things we don’t want to do. In fact, the chapter that I enjoyed the most was you’re never too big to do something small. But it’s also just as important to fit in things that you love to do – ie: finding your sweet spot as Max would say. Now here’s the rub. There’s a third of the book devoted to helping the reader find out what they like to do and I must admit, I’m stumped. I’ve got some work to do!
